Reiterating the state government’s growth trajectory, the Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment, Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, has underscored private-sector collaboration as the core catalyst required to scale the state's economy to $1 trillion by 2052.
Delivering the keynote address at the Julius Berger Luminary Soirée 2026 held on September 9 at the Alliance Française de Lagos, Mike Adenuga Centre, Ikoyi Folashade Ambrose-Medebem focused on the strategic framework titled “The Lagos Proposition: Unlocking Value.” She highlighted that public sector enablement must be matched by institutional capital deployment, corporate partnerships, and long-term infrastructure investment to unlock high-value commercial corridors across the metropolis.
